Closson Dressage's training facility is situated on 40 acres at the southern tip of the Hunter Valley with the picturesque Sugarloaf Mountains behind the boutique equestrian property.
Dressage training is available for horses at all levels with an emphasis on the correct biomechanical function of the horse. Packages are uniquely tailored to support each rider to achieve their goals. Upon arrival each horse is given a thorough review of its current training strengths and weaknesses, condition, care, nutrition, saddlery, etc. and a plan is developed to optimise the performance for each individual. Closson Dressage works closely with a highly qualified specialist team (from farrier to osteopaths) to cater to all the needs of the horse and offer evaluation and advice. Horses are managed in a way that as closely as practical replicates the natural life of a horse whilst maintaining the highest standards of care. Overall well-being is of utmost importance and emphasis is on maintaining a happy athlete "the other 23 hours" as well as whilst in training. |
